Working from offices in Armagh, Northern Ireland you would be taking responsibility for the role of Design Engineer / Drawing Office Manager – utilising Solidworks 3D software.

Your role will involve both the reverse engineering of existing product (some drawings and manufacturing data exists), together with assisting in new product development.  Products are agricultural machinery, including items such as slurry handling solutions, silage and grain trailers, blockcutters, paddle feeders and specialist trailers, to rugged dump trailers, low loaders and flat trailers.

This is a new position with the company and as such is an exciting opportunity for someone to really place their mark within the role and company. 

Essential to the role:

• A good knowledge of and proficient user of Solidworks
• Have a good knowledge of manufacturing processes
• You will need to be confident and pro-active in your approach
• Be comfortable working alone
• Be capable of communicating effectively at all levels
• Have an ability to organize, with a logical and methodical approach

Beneficial to the role:

• AutoCAD knowledge.
• The confidence to manage others – although initially working alone, development of the role could result in the need to manage contract drawing staff in-house and/or manage the outsourcing of drawing work to external providers

This is a permanent, full time role and the salary for this position is £25,000 per annum.
